Radon is ranked second only to cigarette smoking as a cause of lung cancer in the United States. Radon is an odorless, coloress, radioactive gas which eminates naturally from decay in the earth.  The EPA and local state environmental agencies recommend remediation for homes that have tested to an average of 4.0 pCi/l or greater.

The only way to know if you have high radon concentrations in your home is to test.
If you have a remediation system installed in your home it is recommended that you test your home at least every 2 years.

We test using continuous electronic Sun Nuclear monitors.  These monitors have the added advantage of quick results and hourly readings which can expose anomolies in a test that may lead to a false conclusion.
